"Real-world-instruction leads to real-life-rewards."

As a truant and intermittent ward of New York State, I spent foundational school-days home watching episodic reruns of Magic Garden, Sesame Street, Via Allegre, Romper Room and Reading Rainbow. Unwittingly, educational programming such as this would proffer roadmaps to my future educational practices, where visual stimuli evoke intellectual illumination while other luminous modalities encourage student-led-inquiries. Subsequently, these exchanges of visualizations and practicums shaped no only my practice as an educator but it fostered my present educational philosophy.

Educational Philosophy

Real-world-instruction leads to real-life-rewards. As real-world-activities provide purpose in a classroom, students are able to find their niche in-the-lessons-they-undertake, therefore, becoming vested learners. As interest in their learning ameliorates, the potentiality for cognitive development is endless. Additionally, creative practices often give rise to higher order thinking.
